Description
To execute a cursed speech, the user must utilize a cursed tool with a item set of seals on it. For example, Toge Inumaki has seal markings on his cheeks and natural language. A tool created by the Inumaki Family, the "Serpent Eyes and Fang", currently used by Yuta Okkotsu, likewise has similar seals.[1]
Cursed speech communication is activated when the user utters words or commands aloud that are reinforced with cursed energy.[ii] This action compels the listener to act or be acted upon as a command. For instance, a cursed speech user can command his opponent to terminate moving[3], or for them to be crushed.[4] The force of the compulsion depends on the skill level of the user.[5]
Strengths
The master force of cursed voice communication is its immense versatility due to its techniques beingness based on linguistic communication. Information technology is as well effective against any opponent. Anyone unaware of how to defend against cursed speech communication would be helpless against the user's words.
Weaknesses
Like most cursed techniques, overusing cursed speech communication takes a physical toll on the user's body. The stronger the words used, the worse the side effects are. In the worse case scenario, cursed voice communication could backlash on the user[6] and event in sore throats, coughing up blood, and/or losing the power to speak.[7] Many of these symptoms tin be remedied with cough syrup or coughing medicine.
As Cursed Speech uses language and thus is volatile in nature, it tin can go far dangerous to speak with others. Civilians and anyone inside the range of the user will exist affected. As a countermeasure, users of cursed speech tend to limit their casual linguistic communication to certain sage words to avoid triggering cursed speech communication. For example, Inumaki Toge utters the names of ingredients of onigiri to communicate with his peers. While this affects their 24-hour interval-to-day life of talking with others, information technology helps preclude unnecessary hazards. As a side effect, cursed spoken communication users tend to be reserved individuals who use coded linguistic communication due to their inability to converse naturally with others.
Jujutsu sorcerers can protect themselves from a cursed voice communication by manipulating the flow of cursed free energy to their brain's section that controls ear function. This allows them to preclude words and commands from the cursed spoken communication, or at least the curse energy which reinforces those commands, from being registered and executed.[8]
